TUI Stops With the Travel Brand KRAS
Travel organization TUI stops its subsidiary brand KRAS. That brand will no longer be used from 1 April next year.
KRAS has been part of TUI since 2000 and focuses mainly on active people over 50. The travel offer of KRAS will primarily be offered under the brand name TUI.
It is not yet clear what the step means for employment. All KRAS departments were previously merged with TUI, and the KRAS building was closed in May.
TUI says the step to want to continue with fewer brands is part of the reorganization that the company is carrying out.
This should save costs now that the travel market has mostly come to a standstill due to the corona crisis.
The bus company KRAS Touringcars is separate from TUI and will continue to exist. That company will also continue to work with the travel organization.
