The Death Toll Due to Corona Crisis in Spain Rises More Strongly

The death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in Spain increased more strongly by 331 to 23,521.

Several dozen patients died more than a day earlier when the lowest number of coronavirus-related deaths (288) was reported in over a month.

Spain has the highest official death toll worldwide after the United States and Italy.

Still, the tight lockdown in the country eased a bit on Sunday. Then children were allowed to play outside for the first time in a month and a half.

The Spanish authorities have so far identified 209,465 people as infected with the virus.
