TASS: Second Round of Negotiations Moscow and Kyiv Wednesday
The second round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in southeastern Belarus is scheduled for Wednesday, reports the TASS news agency.
However, the deal has not yet been confirmed on the Ukrainian side.
The first round of talks in Gomel on the cessation of hostilities ended unsuccessfully after five hours on Monday. However, the option for a sequel was left open in the coming days.
According to the Ukrainian delegation leader, consultations had to be held in the capitals of Kyiv and Moscow.
The Ukrainians, who want a ceasefire and withdrawal of Russian troops, have little faith in the negotiations. But there would be grounds for further discussions.
