Record Number of Corona Infections in Spain Since the End of the Lockdown

Spain has a record number of new corona infections since the end of the strict corona measures at the end of June. Over the past 24 hours, 3715 cases have been counted.

 

After the lockdown ended, the number of new corona infections started to increase gradually.

Lately, it has been getting faster. The Spanish authorities have already been forced to roll back some of the easings and impose new restrictions.

All discotheques and night clubs are closed again.

Restaurants and bars may remain open, but from now on they have to close every night at 01:00. Smoking in outdoor areas has also been restricted when it is impossible to keep a safe distance.

The government advises only to undertake necessary trips to Madrid, Barcelona and famous holiday islands such as Mallorca and Ibiza. Germany banned all of Spain, except the Canary Islands.
