In The Easter Weekend, More Than 200,000 Visitors Come

In the Easter weekend, More than 200,000 Visitors come to Keukenhof. During the past four days, the summer weather and the favourable dates of the Easter weekend caused peak crowds at the Keukenhof.

More than 200,000 people visited the flower park.

The past Easter weekend attracted a lot more visitors than a year earlier when the Keukenhof attracted only 80,000 visitors.

The Easter weekend fell almost a month earlier, and the temperatures were, therefore, a lot lower.

“The combination of the beautiful flowering in the park,

the flowering bulb fields in the region and the sunny weather has caused Keukenhof to have jam-packed Easter days,” says director Bart Siemerink.

It was so busy that the Keukenhof called on visitors to relocate a visit during Easter to another day.

Eighty percent of the visitors came from abroad.
