Holidaymakers Can Go to Cyprus Without Quarantine
Holiday destination Cyprus makes it easier for tourists and other visitors to enter the country. From May 10, they no longer have to be quarantined after arrival.
A corona vaccination certificate or a negative PCR corona test of up to three days old from that date is sufficient, the authorities of the Mediterranean island announced.
The quarantine obligation lapses for travellers from about 65 countries, including many European countries, the United States and Israel.
Tourism is an essential source of income for the country. The sector suffered severely from the corona crisis last year.
