Denmark Announces First Relaxations to Drastic Corona Measures
Denmark is going to relax the drastic corona measures. If the number of new infections and deaths remains stable, primary schools and nurseries can be reopened from 15 April.
It is a bit like tightrope walking, according to Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. The easings will go step by step to prevent things from going wrong.
All in all, the return to a healthy life will take months, Frederiksen warned.
Denmark was one of the first European countries to adopt strict corona measures.
The Czech Republic and Austria also announced on Monday that they are going to let go of the strict corona regime.
