Death Toll in Spain from Coronavirus Nears 20,000

In Spain, the death toll from the coronavirus is at 19,130 on Thursday. That’s 551 deaths more than Wednesday.


Furthermore, 182,816 cases of infection are known, the authorities said.

Spain, together with Italy and France, is one of the most affected countries in Europe.

On Thursday, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that a total of nearly a million people in Europe had been infected with the coronavirus.

More than 84,000 died from its consequences.
