British Army Ready to Assist With Vaccination

The British army is ready to assist with the vaccination against corona. Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace said on Thursday that soldiers could administer at least 100,000 doses a day.

Millions of people can be vaccinated up to spring.

To speed up the vaccination, 250 mobile teams of medically trained military personnel can enter the country if requested by British health authorities, the minister said.

He has already put 130 military planners to work to prepare for the deployment of the army.

The UK is already using the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine and will begin immunization with the vaccine developed by the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca on Monday.
