Boris Johnson Warns of Doomsday Scenarios
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson opened the Glasgow climate summit in apocalyptic terms with a speech. He warned that it is “one to twelve” and imminent doom.
There is no time to lose, he said, and if we don’t act on climate change, there will be “a public anger that we can’t control”.
According to the British Prime Minister, drastic steps must be taken during the 26th climate summit.
They will not be the end of the trouble but the beginning of the end. Then, we can take concrete steps “on coal, cars, money and trees”.
