Belgian Prime Minister Against Johnson: Your Vaccine Comes From Europe
Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo once again reminded his British colleague Boris Johnson of the origin of the corona vaccine from BioNTech and Pfizer.
“Made in Europe”, the Belgian responded to a message from his counterpart about the vaccination of British against Covid-19.
The United Kingdom is the first country to vaccinate citizens on a large scale with the vaccine. The British authorities started doing this on Tuesday.
Johnson on Twitter thanked the scientists and subjects involved in the development of the drug. He also urged his fellow countrymen that they will beat the virus “together”.
Top UK officials have previously noted that Brexit will accelerate the adoption of the vaccine. This has already led to irritated reactions from Europe, where it was pointed out that the British still follow European rules.
The agent is also imported from Belgium and the developer BioNTech is based in Germany.
