Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Visit Putin on Friday
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will travel to Moscow on Friday to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The Belarusian state news agency reports that the two leaders will discuss the situation in Ukraine and the wider region.
Economic cooperation in light of the international sanctions against both countries will also be discussed. In addition, the relationship between the two countries is discussed again.
Russia is also attacking Ukraine from Belarus with troops and missiles. Lukashenko steadfastly denies that his army is involved in the Russian invasion and says no plans exist.
Nevertheless, Russia is an essential ally for him. Moreover, Belarus hosts peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
